The Secret of Successful Muslims [MustRead&Share]

By Lekan Yakub

In my research about the life of successful
Muslims as compared to the hardship we are
facing today, I discovered that they have a
strong WEAPON which they have used to break
all obstacle. This WEAPON is not expensive at
all and we don’t need to travel before we can
use it. If we use this weapon with sincerity, our
enemy will never over-power us, in sha Allaah.
This strong weapon that successful Muslims
have over all opressions and afflictions is
ISTIGHFAAR (seeking forgiveness from Allaah).
Doing constant istigfaar with sincereity solves
your problem of MONEY, FOOD, FEAR, etc.
I’m sure you want to see my proof for this, right?
Here they are:
“I said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your
Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; ‘He will send
rain to you in abundance; ‘And give you increase
in wealth and children, and bestow on you
gardens and bestow on you rivers.’ ” [Surah
Nooh, Verses 10-12] “And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord
and then repent to Him, He will send you (from
the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your
strength, so do
not turn away as Mujrimûn (criminals,
disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh).” [Surah
Hood, Verse 52] And Anas (radhiAllahu ‘anhu) said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi
wasallam) say:
“Allah the Almighty has said: ‘O son of Adam, so
long as you call upon Me, and hope in Me, I shall
forgive you for what you have done, and I shall
not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds in the sky and were you then to
ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you. O son
of Adam, were you to come to Me with an
earthful of sins and were you then to face Me,
without having associated anything with Me, I
shall grant you an earthful of pardon.’” [Recorded
by Al-Tirmidhi, who said that it is a good and
sound hadith] Should I also point to you one of the best ways
of seeking forgiveness from Allaah? Here is it:
The Messenger of Allaah – may peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him – said : Indeed
the major supplication for forgiveness is
to say
“Allaahumma anta rabbee, la ilaha illa anta,
Khalaqtanee, wa ana abduka, wa ana ala ahdika
wa wa’dika mastata’tu, a’outhu bika min sharri
ma sanatu, aboo’u laka bini’matika alayya, wa
aboo’u bitahmbee, faghfirlee fa’innahu la yaghfiru
ath-thunooba ‘illa ‘anta” [ Sahih Bukhari Vol.8
Hadith no:318] Meaning:
“O Allaah You are my Lord, there is none worthy
of worship in truth except You, You created me
and I am Your slave and I am abiding to Your
covenant and promise as best as I can, I seek
refuge in You from the evil that I have
committed, I profess to you my sins and I
acknowledge Your favour upon me, so forgive me
verily no one forgives sins except you.”
Oh Mislims! Let’s STOP complaining to people
and START seeking the lasting solution to our
problems from the Qur’aan and authentic
sunnah.
May Allaah forgive the writer and the readers
and crown all our efforts with success (Aameen)
