Important note on raising hands in salah

Some of the mistakes while raising hands (Raf’ al-Yadain) in the Salah:

al-Albani (rahimahullah): Touching the earlobes with the thumb whilst raising your hands in pray is an innovation.”

Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) said:
❶ Some raise their hands only up to the level of their chest and not up to the level of the shoulders.

This is wrong as the person has not followed the Sunnah.

❷ Inserting the index finger into the ear canal; this action is only done during ablution (Wudhu).

❸ Touching the earlobes while raising the hands, this is incorrect and has no basis.
