Rafeeqee Foundation’s Zakatul Mal Health Support: Impacting Lives Across Nine States

Alhamdulillah! Rafeeqee Foundation, in collaboration with Enycare Foundation has successfully provided health support through the second phase of our Zakatul Mal 2024, bringing relief to individuals in dire medical need across nine states.

Hope Restored for Hepatitis B Patient in Ogun State

One of the beneficiaries was a woman in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, who had been struggling with Hepatitis B. Due to illiteracy and misinformation, she initially believed she was suffering from HIV/AIDS, which led to social isolation and abandonment by her husband.

Since October 2024, she had been unable to afford the recommended medical tests at Babcock Teaching Hospital. With Rafeeqee Foundation’s intervention, we fully funded her tests, amounting to ₦69,000, allowing her to begin the necessary treatment.

Critical Surgical Support in Ibadan

In collaboration with Enycare Foundation, we also supported Mrs. Zainab Ojasayo in Ibadan, who required a lump removal surgery. The lump will undergo further testing for malignancy, and we have ensured that her post-operative care is covered as well.

Dialysis and Surgery for Kidney Disease Patient

Among the many lives touched, Rafeeqee Foundation also provided dialysis treatment for a patient battling kidney disease. The cost of ongoing dialysis can be overwhelming for many struggling families, but thanks to your Zakat contributions, we were able to ease the burden and provide essential care.

Additionally, we funded a critical surgical procedure for another beneficiary in need, giving them a second chance at life and better health.
